Images of Strength and Hope:
PRESERVING YOUR STORY, SHARING YOUR STRENGTH, GIVING OTHERS HOPE
Every family and child are unique and beautiful. Families with a loved one with special needs often provide a powerful testimony to what is most important and valuable in life. They have stories which show incredible strength even when circumstances are most challenging. These stories are an important vehicle for relaying hope to others. Images of Strength and Hope is a program which captures the strength and beauty of individuals and families facing some of life’s greatest challenges and preserves their stories through the art of photography and the written word. These “Storytelling” photography sessions preserve their story, capture their resilience, depict the beauty of their unique lives, and provide them and others with a gift that conveys hope.
Ann Marie’s Storytelling sessions serve families who have a loved one who is struggling with, or has overcome a struggle with a chronic or terminal illness, disability, or personal trial in their lives. Ann Marie will work with you in order to record the story of your journey. She will then schedule a time or series of times to record the beauty of your family through photography. Each family will receive a written account of their story alongside their photographs in a beautiful custom made book.
Sessions take place in the comfort of your home or at a location of your choice in the Twin Cities. Sessions are relaxed and aim to be unobtrusive. She will fade into the background as you and your loved one enjoy doing their favorite activity or just spending time together. Meanwhile, she will capture images that you will cherish for a lifetime. Prior to your book, you will receive an online gallery of photos from which you can download images or purchase high quality prints. A narrative of your unique story will be shared to encourage others on the Images of Strength and Hope Blog. VISIT The blog "Images of Strength and Hope" TO BE INSPIRED BY FAMILIES' STORIES.
Families with a loved one with special needs or a chronic/terminal illness often do not have the resources or opportunity to have a photo session. Freewill donations are accepted in order to help support this service. If you would like to sponsor a Storytelling Session for a family you may do so below:
